KANE
Kane, the baby brother of the Undertaker, the demon from Hell. Kane has a weird obsession with fire, and at one point was actually billed as being from Hell. Kane liked to pop up through the ring canvas and pull his opponents down to "Hell" with him. Kane was a giant, masked man and he did not speak on camera for years. When he finally did, the moment we were all dying for, all he could say was that he would set himself on fire if he lost the title. How articulant of you, Kane.

Kane's entire gimmick is based on the Christian concept of Hell being a pit of evil and flame that lies below the world that we live in. People hate the thought of ending up in Hell after they die, and Kane draws his heel heat from this hatred and fear. As the Kane also has a few parallels to the Biblical Cain and Abel in the Book of Genesis. After both offering the fruits of their labour to God, God looks at Abel's offering of sheep before he looks at his brother Cain's offering of produce. Cain, in his jealousy, slays Abel. This jealousy is mimicked through running feuds between Kane and his kayfabe brother, Undertaker. And I need not explain how close the name "Cain" is to "Kane."
